Abstract: |
Substituted strontium ferrite SrFe12−xCrx/2Alx/2O19 (x=0–2.5) / multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) nanocomposites were prepared by a sol- gel method. The nanocomposites were characterized by means of X-ray powder diffractometer, fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, vibrating sample magnetometer, network vector analyzer and field emission scanning electron microscopy. FE-SEM microgeraphs also revealed that the addition of poly(acrylic acid) (PAA) could enhanced the formation of dot arrays of ferrite on the surface of carbon nanotubes. The magnetic properties showed that the values of saturation magnetization,Ms for nanocomposite is considerably lower than that of SrFe12−xCrx/2Alx/2O19 nanoparticles. The CNTs could enhance reflection loss of ferrites. |
